What a way to end the 2019-2020 year!

We hope this finds you all healthy and happy, even if a bit stir crazy. It is that time of year again to renew your Sisterhood membership and we hope you will. If you have not been a member before, we do hope you will consider joining. While we do not know what the 2020-2021 year has in store for us, we do have lots of ideas on how to keep everyone engaged and connected. We would also LOVE to hear other ideas and get your feedback.

Sisterhood will continue supporting all the wonderful causes and organizations we always have and with the pandemic, maybe a few more. We raise funds for our congregation, Religious School, the LM Tikkun Olam Committee, and the YES Fund (youth, education, and special projects) of Women of Reform Judaism. Thanks to individual member donations we currently provide support to Helpmate, Room in the Inn, and Jewish Family Services of WNC. Being a member of Sisterhood will provide opportunities to engage in these activities.

We do HOPE to have our annual Membership Brunch on Sunday November 15, 2020, stay tuned for details. But we also recognize we need to be flexible and develop some virtual options for this coming year as well. We have been brainstorming some new Sisterhood Activities: Cooking Class/Lesson, Knitting Groups, Movie Series, Book Club, Rosh Chodesh services.

This year Sisterhood is adopting a sisters helping sisters dues structure. Anything above the basic Leah level will be used to support our sisters who have been impacted by these unprecedented times.

For those blessed to be over 89 years young, your dues are on us. Please circle Sarah on the Membership form to indicate your membership level.
